Before I came to NuSmile, I had gingivitis really bad for a number of years and I hadn’t taken the time off work to take care of my teeth. For the past 14 years, I’ve been driving for a major carrier. I’ll drive for days, coast-to-coast deal with the receiver, and pay the guy to unload the truck and deal with the different people I have at the receiving end. And then, [inaudible] it over and pick up a load. It’s a lot of hard work. And so, my teeth were really in a bad way. Just fell out of my head and I lost one front tooth in the top and I decided at that point, “Okay, I need to do it now.” And so, about 6 months after that, I was in here at NuSmile, getting the procedure done.

When I first arrived at NuSmile, I had a few minutes and I saw these certifications on the wall. I read them and they had dates from the beginning of implant surgery to very current certifications and [inaudible], she’s really on top of the technology. Since then, I’ve been very impressed with how Dr. O’Neal trains her people. They all have a really thorough knowledge of dental implant surgery. For example, I talk with Kimberly and she told me the ins and outs of how this works but then immediately, I was talking with Dr. O’Neal once I decided to do with it and I’ve been dealing with Dr. O’Neal, and her staff since the same people and I’ve come to trust them. They assured me there would be no pain and there was zero pain. I have 6 implants on, 4 implants on the bottom, and things went great. I have a better smile now and I have more confidence in my smile and my looks than I’ve had in years. It’s made a big difference in my life as far as how comfortable I feel around people and talking with people and a lot of what I do is talking with people and dealing with them. Everybody from shippers and receivers and repair people and so, it’s important to have good communication skills. It helps me a lot with that.
